In support of the ACMAV Foundation and the Chinese Cancer Society of Victoria
The ACMAV Charity Ball will be this year's major event on the association's calendar. With planning well underway, it promises to be a spectacular evening. All proceeds will go towards supporting the ACMAV Foundation's charitable works and the Chinese Cancer Society of Victoria.
In 2011, in collaboration with Xian Jiatong Hospital and Starfish orphanage, the Foundation sent our first cleft palate surgical team to Xian (China) where we performed 13 life changing operations on orphans with cleft lips and palates. This trip was partially funded by proceeds from the inaugural ACMAV Charity Ball held the previous year. The Foundation will continue to send surgical teams to Xian on a yearly basis and aims to expand our services to other provinces in China.
Sponsorships
The Charity Ball provides an ideal forum for companies to market their products and services to several hundred attendees. Sponsors will be officially recognised with our projects and will have direct access to our professional members during the evening.
